Home Support Worker – Housekeeping

As a home support worker within our Cooperative, you will play an essential role in the well‑being and comfort of our members. Your presence helps promote their autonomy, support their health, and ensure a safe and pleasant home environment.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform regular housekeeping in members’ homes, according to their needs and expectations. Tasks may include sweeping and/or vacuuming, dusting, cleaning common areas, washing the kitchen and bathroom, emptying trash, tidying, etc. 
  • Handle laundry, ironing, folding, and storing clothing and household linens. 
  • Prepare simple meals and run errands for members. 
  • Observe and report any changes or specific needs to contribute to clients’ safety and well‑being. 
  • Promote the Cooperative’s various services. 
  • Perform any other related tasks. 

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Functional proficiency in French 
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada 
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

  • Permanent full‑time or part‑time position, based on your needs 
  • Starting hourly wage: $22.75/h 
  • Paid travel time: $21/h 
  • Mileage allowance: $0.65/km 
  • Flexible schedule to support work‑life balance 
  • Travel required across the Laval territory
